What Is This Program?

Through flexible, online classes, you can earn your homeschool high school diploma from the comfort of your home.
We offer a quality, flexible and affordable online learning from Islamic worldview that is relevant to the demands of today’s society.
Our vision is to support our students to achieve their dreams and goals, to become thinkers, leaders and successful life stories and most important to become Muslim youth that Allah is pleased with.
We are looking to enroll 40 committed children ages 13 to 18 who want to complete their high school diploma from the comfort of their homes.
Right now we are launching a registration for the 2022/23 school year to give a limited number of students the opportunity to come and benefit from our expertise.
Registration is closing soon.
The first day of school is August 29th, 2022 Monday.
Is this legit?
Yes, homeschooling is a legitimate educational option in the US and many other countries in the world.
Taken from Khan Academy website:
“Homeschoolers do not need a GED or a diploma to apply to college or qualify for financial aid; you just have to declare that your homeschool education meets state law requirements. Most homeschooled students choose not to take the GED if they have valid transcripts, as colleges will place the most emphasis on your transcript and standardized test scores. If you’re homeschooled through an online academy, virtual school, or organized homeschool program then they will award your diploma according to their own standards. If you’re homeschooled independently by your parents, then your parents have the option of issuing you a diploma if your transcripts indicate you’ve met the basic state requirements for graduation. When filling out the FAFSA, be sure to check “homeschooled” when it asks for your high school completion status. Even if your homeschool is administered through an umbrella organization, you should still check “homeschooled” instead of “high school diploma” to avoid any delays in the processing of your application.”
What Do I Need to Homeschool High School?

How Does It Work
What is our online high school curriculum like?
In order to earn the high school diploma, students need to complete 24 credits of school work in the following areas: English, Mathematics, Science & Computer Science, Social Science, World Languages, and Electives .
One credit is equivalent to 1 year in a particular course.
After you fill out our registration form our Advisor will contact you to help you create your own high school plan and enroll in classes of your choice.
Students get to choose 16 required credits in core subjects:
- English 4 credits
- Mathematics 3 credits
- Science 2 credits
- Social Science 3 credits
- World Languages 2 credits
- Computer Literacy 1 credit
- Health Education 1 credit
Students get to choose 8 elective credits. If you choose to focus on a specific career your electives will be focused on skills needed for your chosen career path.
Students can choose the path of completing a general high school diploma, academic path of early college enrollment or entrepreneur path of entering the world of entrepreneurship.
Each school subject includes:
- Attending 2 live Zoom classes per week for 16 or 32 weeks of instruction.
- Access to weekly Drop In Study Group sessions.
- Access to Self Study Organized Curriculum.
- Access to the communication channel with teachers and other classmates.
- Free online textbooks and resources.
How long is it going to take the student to complete the requirements for a high school diploma depends on the student’s personal situation.
Depending on the number of credits taken each year, a high school diploma can be completed in 2 to 4 years.
Students can also transfer eligible credits from their previous high school to save time and money when earning their diploma with Al Qalam Academy.
For students who want to enter college or university after high school this program will equip the student with knowledge and skills to enter college at age 16 as a dual enrollment. This way students will earn credits for high school and college at the same time.
For students who are interested in earning a high school diploma without entering college they can complete requirements in a shorter time.
For students who are interested in working or owning a business after high school this program will equip the student with the right mindset and skills to be successful in entrepreneurship.
What evidence do you have that this program is working?
Our first graduate who followed our curriculum from middle school throughout high school enrolled in college at age 16 and successfully attended college.

We Use Our Proven High School Learning Model
For over a decade we have observed, learned and adjusted what we teach to help our students get the best results. We do not follow nor copy what everyone else does. We are focusing on what matters and where the new era paradigm is taking us.
This is an easier and faster learning program than anything else you have tried before without compromising academic rigorous or Islamic values. We use an efficient and unique teaching method that gives students an opportunity to work less and achieve more.
Our program has 3 to 4 hours daily of Zoom time allowing students to have time for other daily activities. Other resources we have support students in their independent studies. We not only encourage students to reach out if they need help but we help them to do so.
Here we don’t think about the teachers as those who give lectures but rather as mentors.
We teach relevant subjects that children need to learn but more importantly we teach them to take responsibility for their study and to be independent learners. Also we teach them in a way that will help them to feel comfortable when they enter colleges or the workplace. They learn how to officially communicate and send emails. We teach them how to study, how to have the right mindset, how to think and make good decisions.
Because in order to help students succeed we need to create an environment and mindset for success. Environment will always beat the willpower. It doesn’t matter how hard the students try, they can’t succeed if they don’t have a support system. In the absence of skills you won’t reach your potential. That’s why we see many students studying hard but not having success in school. Good intentions do not give results. Students need efficient teaching, relevant and meaningful curriculum and skillful support from teachers and parents. Learning is not an isolated event. It’s connected with all other aspects of students’ lives. So by embracing a new perspective on learning and schooling, students will have an enjoyable learning experience.
Will this work for me?
True excellence and success doesn’t happen by accident. Success is achievable if it is carefully planned. We offer the environment and structure that supports students to success. If the students follow our proven system they will be successful.
What if this will not work for me?
If you decide to withdraw from our program at any point of time you can enroll back to any school of your choice. We will issue a transcript with a list of credits you took with us. Your time and effort with us will never be wasted.
What is the cost of the program?
For a small investment and decision today you will equip your child with an excellent education grounded in a Islamic worldview.
Students can choose to enroll in one or more courses of their choice:
Attending one school subject costs $150 per month.
Price includes:
- Attending 2 live Zoom classes per week.
- Access to weekly Drop In Study Group sessions.
- Access to Self Study Organized Curriculum.
- Access to the communication channel with teachers and other classmates.
- Free digital textbooks and other resources
Students can choose to enroll in full time program and earn great savings:
Attending a full time program(6 credits) costs $900. For those who enroll in July and August 2022 we offer 50% off discount so the price of the full time program is $450 per month (10 months is the length of one school year).
Pay for 3 classes and get 3 classes for free. We offer 20% group and sibling discounts.
Full time includes required subjects and elective subjects of students’ choice. Recommended number of credits to be earned in one school year is 6. Students are free to enroll in more than 6 credits per year per their request. Extra credits are also free of charge.
Students can choose from classes that will prepare them in any of these 3 areas of expertise:
